Knowsley Youth Parliament is an open forum aimed at all 11-20 year olds in Knowsley. It is made up of young people interested in having a voice in their community both regionally and nationally. The young people can bring forward issues from their schools, colleges, work or communities to be discussed and raised as priorities.

The Shout 4 Knowsley website for KYP project was started by Nathan Horan (MYP 07-08) along with the rest of KYP in order to make a big step into getting more young people meaningfully participating. We were funded the money for our website by The Big Deal grants scheme for young people in order to make this website.

Our aims for creating the website are:
• Letting young people have their say without having to commit to anything long-term
• Raising the Profile of Knowsley Youth Parliament
• Gaining more committed, active, hard-working members of KYP
• To Advertise our campaigns
• To hear comments from the young people we represent
• To make a difference for young people
• Creating an easy, accessible website for any young person to use!
