We also want to use this website to raise the profile of Knowsley Youth Parliament and the work that we do and create the opportunity to gain new, hard-working and committed members who have not been given this chance before; this will be open for any young person aged 13 to 20.

If you don’t fancy becoming a member, but still want to have your say, you can tell us what you think on the website which will be forwarded to us, and your opinion will be projected as far as UK Youth Parliament!

CUT FILMS COMPETITION

Young people from Knowsley are being given the opportunity to enter an anti-tobacco North West film and social media competition.

The Cut Films North West 2012 competition – run by The Deborah Hutton Campaign and Smoke & Mirrors youth anti-tobacco project - asks young people in schools, colleges and youth centres across Knowsley and the North West to research tobacco marketing, make a two minute short film about it for their friends, upload to the competition website and share it on their social media. It’s their take on the issues associated with youth smoking.
